This notice explains what information is processed when you use upgr8bowling.com, why it is processed, and what choices and rights you have. It applies only to this website and not to external services you may visit through our links.

This website does not provide user accounts, checkout, online payments, or a database-backed contact form. Contact takes place through your email or telephone provider outside the website.

Data we process

Website and security logs

When you request a page or file, our hosting and content-delivery providers may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser and device information, and security signals. This is used to deliver the website, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.

Messages you send us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and message content you choose to provide so that we can respond and, where relevant, take steps connected with your enquiry.

Website analytics

On the production website, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregated website usage and improve content and navigation. The information processed depends on your privacy choice. With analytics cookies allowed, it may include pages viewed, approximate location, referring source, browser and device characteristics, and basic interaction events. Without analytics cookies, only the limited cookieless measurement described below is used. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, account identifiers, or payment information to GA4, and we do not use this website for advertising personalization.

Analytics and your consent

The production website uses Google Analytics measurement ID G-YBTQGYL2X8 with Advanced Consent Mode. The Google tag loads on the production domain, but before you choose, analytics storage and all advertising-related consent signals are set to denied.

• If you allow analytics cookies, GA4 may write or read analytics cookies and process interaction data for measurement.
• If you decline analytics cookies or have not yet chosen, GA4 does not read or write first-party analytics cookies. It still receives limited cookieless pings for aggregated measurement and modelling.
• According to Google, these cookieless pings do not contain Analytics cookie identifiers. They may include consent state, timestamp, page URL and referrer, user-agent, screen resolution, and the IP address used for network transmission. Google states that it does not store or log the IP address from these pings.
• Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied regardless of your analytics-cookie choice. We also disable Google Signals and advertising personalization signals in the website tag.

You can allow, decline, or later withdraw analytics-cookie consent at any time using Privacy settings in the website footer. Withdrawal applies to future cookie-based measurement and does not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal. Declining analytics cookies does not stop the cookieless pings described above.

Browser storage and cookies

The website uses the following browser technologies:

• upgr8-consent-v1 in local browser storage remembers whether you allowed or declined analytics cookies. This strictly necessary preference remains until you change it or clear website data in your browser.
• If you allow analytics cookies, GA4 may set _ga to distinguish browsers and _ga_<container-id> to maintain session state. Google lists a default lifetime of two years for both cookies, although browser restrictions or property configuration may shorten it.
• Hosting or content-delivery security services may set strictly necessary cookies when required to protect the website or complete a security challenge.

The new website does not use a PHP session cookie and does not intentionally set marketing or advertising cookies.

Under Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, storing information on or reading information from a user’s device generally requires prior information and consent unless it is strictly necessary to transmit a communication or provide a service requested by the user. We treat the preference used to remember your privacy choice as strictly necessary. Analytics cookies remain off unless you actively allow them.

Purposes and legal bases

We process information for the following purposes and legal bases under the GDPR:

• Analytics cookies and cookie-based measurement: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law.
• Limited cookieless measurement: to the extent a cookieless ping involves personal data, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in obtaining basic, aggregated information about website use and improving content. In assessing this interest, we take into account that Analytics storage and advertising signals are denied, Analytics cookie identifiers are absent, Google states that IP addresses are not stored or logged, and the data is used for aggregated measurement and modelling.
• Remembering your privacy choice: providing the privacy setting you requested and our legitimate interest in respecting and documenting that choice.
• Website delivery, reliability, fraud prevention, and security: our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f).
• Responding to enquiries: our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), or Article 6(1)(b) when your request concerns steps before entering into a contract.
• Legal and accounting obligations, where applicable: Article 6(1)(c).

You are not required to allow analytics cookies or contact us. Declining analytics cookies does not limit access to website content. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described under Your rights.

Recipients and international transfers

Information may be processed by service providers that support the website, including our hosting and infrastructure providers, Google Ireland Limited and other relevant Google group companies in connection with GA4, and email or telecommunications providers when you contact us. They receive information only for the applicable service, contractual, security, or legal purpose. We do not sell personal data.

Google and other providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Depending on the recipient and destination, transfers rely on an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where available, or safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Google describes its current safeguards in its data-transfer framework notice. You can contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to our use of a provider.

Links to Amazon, Facebook, and other third-party websites open services controlled by those providers. Their own privacy notices apply after you follow a link.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal, security, accounting, or claims-related requirements.

• Your analytics-cookie choice remains in your browser until you change it or clear website data.
• If analytics cookies are allowed, Google lists a default lifetime of two years for _ga and _ga_<container-id>, subject to browser limits and the settings applied to the GA4 property.
• Server and security logs are retained according to the limited retention settings of the relevant hosting or security provider and only for the period needed to operate the website, diagnose failures, protect it, and investigate incidents.
• Event- and user-level analytics information is retained according to the GA4 property setting. For a standard GA4 property, Google currently provides retention settings of 2 or 14 months. Aggregated reporting may not be affected by this setting. Google’s applicable service terms also govern its processing of cookieless measurement signals.
• Email or telephone correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any related legal or business obligations.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

In particular, you may object to the limited cookieless measurement described above on grounds relating to your situation. Because cookieless pings are not associated with an Analytics cookie identifier, it may not be possible to locate historical pings as records linked to you. We will still assess and respond to an objection and explain the practical steps available for preventing future requests from your browser.

To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Security and automated decisions

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We do not use information collected through this website to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
